The first part of HIGH CULTURE is CLASSICAL MUSIC.Classical Music can be divided into many different time periods, but the three that we are mainly interested in is: 1) The Baroque Period (1600-1750), 2) The Classical Period (1750-1820), and 3) The Romantic Period (late 18th to early 19th Century).
The Baroque Period (1600-1750):
The Baroque Period is the period of history of mixed cultures (such as the Africanization of the Americas, and the European colonisation of Asia), as well as the creation of new modes of thinking.
In Music, the Baroque Period saw the creation of functional tonality.
Some famous composers of the period include: Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frideric Handel, Alessandro Scarlatti, Antonio Vivaldi, Georg Philipp Telemann, Jean-Baptiste Lully, Arcangelo Corelli, François Couperin, Denis Gaultier, Claudio Monteverdi, Jean-Philippe Rameau and Henry Purcell.
